Lola was an adventurous, sweet, chatty kitty. From the day I brought her home from her foster home to my little apartment 8 years ago she brightened my world! Lola loved fresh catnip from our garden, snuggling up on a fuzzy blanket, sleeping between mom and dad on the big bed, catching chipmunks, rotisserie chicken, belly rubs, (on the prettiest blonde belly) and naps in the sunshine. She was patiently gentle with all 3 of our young children and loved her 2 Blue Heeler pup-siblings! We are heartbroken to lose her so soon and with very little time to prepare. I’ll miss your soft fur, your two-toned paw pads, your purrs at the sight of me just walking into the room, the outdoorsy smell of the top of your head and your skill of keeping my feet so warm at night. We love you and miss you so much, sweet girl.
My sweet baby girl Samantha you were with me for over 20 years. You gave me unconditional love all the way until the end. You were my best friend, my baby. No matter what you were there for me. I just love you so much my heart is broken and I will never forget you. Samantha you are at peace now and you will hurt no more. Remember mommy and remember you go night night mommy goes night night. I love you my sweet angle. Kitty kisses❤️

To our beautiful and handsome Dutchy boy. You brought so much love into our home. You were the best cat we could have ever asked for. We will continue to miss you each and everyday but we know you are at peace.

Tig was the best. Not much more to say besides that. Dr. Kubis and Chris were so good to him I don’t even have words for it. No day was spent unhappy in his life thanks to them.

Our Macho, our big baby, oh how we are missing you, your favorite spot is empty and so is our heart. Not seeing you next to our bed when we wake up in the morning waiting to be fed or waiting at the door when we come home from work it’s been so hard. The house feels so empty, how we wish you were still here. We only take a little comfort in knowing that you are not hurting anymore. Until we meet again love. You will never, ever be forgotten.

My best friend closed his eyes last night, As his head was in my hand. The Doctors said he was in pain, And it was hard for him to stand. The thoughts that scurried through my head, As I cradled him in my arms. Were of his younger, puppy years, And OH…his many charms. But an Angel just appeared to me, And he said, “You should cry no more, GOD also loves our canine friends, HE’s installed a ‘doggy-door”!
Sunlight streams through window pane onto a spot on the floor….. then I remember, it’s where you used to lie, but now you are no more. Our feet walk down a hall of carpet, and muted echoes sound….. then I remember,it’s where your paws would joyously abound.
I’ll wrap these treasured memories in a blanket of my love, and keep them for my best friend until we meet above.
TO MY BELOVED POPI YOU GAVE US 15 YRS OF YOUR BEAUTIFUL LIFE,THE BEST 15 YRS EVER, YOU LEFT PAW PRINTS IN OUR HEARTS AND YOU WILL BE DEARLY MISSED.IM SURE GONNA MISS YOU BUDDY

Spotty was my 1st furbaby. She was born 10/01/77. I would bring food to her mom so that when the babies were born I would get 1st pick of the puppies. I picked her because she was the only one with a half white, half black face. I fell in love with her. I was 7yrs old. She was a Terrier mix & lived for almost 23 years. Dr. Hoppy was her dr from beginning to end. When it was her time to cross the Rainbow Bridge he was there to help her cross on 09/11/2000. She was 22yrs 11 months old when she passed. Her ashes are buried with my mom as it was my mom’s request. I miss her still.

My Mister Morris!! Found him in our back yard in a box on a cold November day about 2 years after Spotty passed. He meowed at us & that was it. We got to shared 10 wonderful years together. He was a kitten when we found him so he was 10 when he went over the Rainbow Bridge in 2012. Dr. Hoppy was also his dr & helped him cross.

Last but definitely not least there was Murganah who came 2 yrs after we found Mister Morris so yes they became a couple. She was very sick but she pulled through thanks to the great care she received from Dr. Hoppy & everyone at CT Vet Center. She was the last furbaby I lost. She passed on 03/02/2018. They are all missed so much.

It’s been 4 years for Kicho and 3 years for Koreo and it feels like last week. My soulmate cats’ passing has left an empty space in my heart that’ll never be filled. They were velcro cats by my side day and night. Dr Cox primarily – and sometimes Dr McGrath or Dr Kubis and other staff – took the best care of them. I wrote obituaries for both! And put them in the Courant. What a special bond. In their memory I started Kicho and Koreo’s Comfort to collect and donate towels, blankets, pet beds, carriers, food etc to local rescues in need.
