Meet Darah Fowler - Certified Professional Dog Groomer

“I have experience with dogs of all types — and their comfort, health, and happiness always come first.”

Darah’s grooming journey started at age 16 as a kennel tech, where a coworker sparked her passion for the craft. She’s since gone on to build a career rooted in veterinary grooming, run her own grooming business, and now joins us in Connecticut to bring her talents to CVC clients.

Darah holds consultations for first-time clients, ensuring she gets to know your pet, their coat condition, and any behavioral or medical considerations — because a great groom starts with trust.

Grooming Requirements

To ensure a safe and smooth experience, all grooming pets must meet the following:

✔ Consultation for First-Time Pets
All new pets must have a one-time consultation before their first grooming appointment. This helps us understand your pet’s coat, behavior, and any special needs. All grooms are by appointment only.

✔ Up-to-Date Vaccinations
Required vaccines include Rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella. Records must be on file before your appointment and can be emailed to grooming@ctvetcenter.com.

✔ Free of Fleas, Ticks, and Parasites
Pets must arrive clean and parasite-free. If any are found, grooming may be paused or declined, and treatment fees may apply.

✔ Full Disclosure of Medical or Behavioral Concerns
Let us know about any health issues, injuries, anxiety, or past grooming difficulties. This helps us keep your pet safe and comfortable.

✔ Cancellation & Late Policy
Appointments must be canceled at least 24 hours in advance to avoid a $25 fee. Arriving more than 15 minutes late may require rescheduling.

Darah believes in building lasting relationships with both pets and their people, and she treats every dog like one of her own. Her companion, Bentley (a 13-year-old Shih Tzu and former client!), travels everywhere with her and her husband Clint — from cross-country hikes and kayaking trips to football watch parties cheering on the Oklahoma Sooners and Kansas City Chiefs.
